- 5/6th grade teacher Giselle Isbell has been name a finalist for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST), the nation’s highest honor for U.S. mathematics and science teachers for grades K–12. Awardees serve as models for their colleagues, inspiration to their communities, and leaders in the improvement of mathematics and science education. This award comes as much deserved recognition for Giselle’s passion and dedication to teaching math at Anser. She is a model to her fellow teachers and an inspiration to her students.
